Welcome to the Nova Scotia Liberal Caucus website! We are proud to share this new and improved site with all Nova Scotians. As we journey through our renewal process we wanted to update the Caucus website to reflect the more modern approach we are taking in our role in government.
This new website is easy for everyone to access the latest information on the positive initiatives we are bringing forward on behalf of all Nova Scotians. We are also very excited about the video component of this site. In the weeks and months ahead, the public will have to go no further than this site to see what Liberal MLAs are saying inside the House of Assembly and out in your community.
The new search engine makes it simple to find specific information about any topic of interest. Also, in the near future each MLA will have a micro-site with local information, events, photographs, critic portfolios and issues we are facing in our communities. After the last election, Nova Scotians made it clear to us they wanted a different approach in the way we do business on behalf of the people of this province. We listened to that message and we believe we have made this minority government work using a cooperative and balanced approach. We also continue to provide an effective opposition that holds government accountable on important and outstanding issues.
It is Caucus’s wish to create a higher level of communication with all Nova Scotians. We want to hear from as many as possible, so that we can continue to design our initiatives accordingly. This website is one of many steps we are undertaking to more effectively respond to the needs of the people of this great province we live in.
We look forward to your feedback on any issue. Please let us know what you think of our new website. We are eager for your suggestions.
